MITRA dedicates the menu to Progressive Indian Cuisine where inspiration has been taken from Pan Indian and Middle Eastern cuisine. The fusion of cultures infuses magnificently to create an appetizing experience that hasn’t been manifested before. The infusion is so compelling that with every bite, flavour can be acknowledged. Located at the waterfront Heritage Zone in Al Seef-Dubai Creek, MITRA is the only ‘Floating’ licenced Indian restaurant in the region. MITRA will be your place to unite with friends tasting scrumptiousness off their plates. Our food is freshly prepared using only the finest ingredients, making each meal a pleasurable and healthy affair.
THE FOUNDERS
MITRA, which means ‘friend’ in Sanskrit, is the brainchild of an Indian couple who moved to Dubai, fell in love with its magic, and made it their home. After a stint in the corporate world, they decided to chase their dream of creating a special place that celebrates friendship in style. According to Shivam Goyal and Shipra Khurana, MITRA co-founders, MITRA endeavours to bring friends together to not only enjoy an unsurpassable and stimulating culinary experience but to also enjoy and celebrate each other’s company.

Our Chef believes that cooking is a collusion of ideas and culture, which is a clever blend resulting in a gustatory explosive taste. It is also an inspiration taken by Indian and Middle Eastern cultures. Together, these cultures elicit relationship shared by individuals that is beyond personal interests and depicts a pure bond.
